About Us
14 Years of Experience
Our founder, Kenneth Jenkins, always enjoyed exercising and playing sports as a child. When his athletic career didn't pan out as expected, he left the world of athletic fitness until a friend suggested that he become a personal trainer to combine his love of exercise with his passion for helping people.
In November of 2010, Kenneth became a certified fitness trainer through International Sports Science Association He started working at Xtreme Fitness in Jacksonville, Florida. After working with an additional gym in the Jacksonville Area, he opened Ken's Fitness and Nutrition Center in Jacksonville, FL, in January 2013.
Our facility specializes in teaching and educating you on how to use the correct forms when exercising to target specific muscles in the body. We also show you how to count calories in solid and liquid food products. We don't advise against "miracle diets" that promise quick weight loss, as we will remind you that these diets may also result in the loss of your lean muscle mass. Lean muscle not only gives your body a trim look but also helps burn the fatty acids in your body.
That's why at Ken's Fitness and Nutrition Studio, we instruct you to eat a sufficient amount of protein to repair and build the muscle in your body while training.
